Dan achieved the national diploma in garden design at Plumpton College in East Sussex.
An experienced hortiulutralist, Dan has various horticultural qualifications and has worked in gardens for over 15 years, gaining great hands on knowledge with plants and creating outdoor spaces.
He combines a personable approach with his experience in horticulture and an eye for design to work with you in transforming and creating your dream outdoor space.
Dan is inspired by naturalistic design and creating calming planting schemes and gardens that can be enjoyed throughout the seasons.
Prior to working in horticulture, Dan studied Psychology at the University of Brighton and values the wellbeing and health benefits that a garden can provide.
His degree is influential to his design approach, with planting schemes that are carefully considered, evoke feeling, create calm and a sense of place.
Dan grew up surrounded by nature in the countryside and lives in rural Suffolk. His travels have taken him throughout Europe, North Africa, East Asia and Australia and continues to take inspiration from new landscapes. His favourite UK landscape is the Scottish Hebrides which he visits as often as he can.
